LA, BAHIA, AFRICA: A WRITING WORKSHOP @ A+P

California African American Museum

Beginning and experienced writers are invited to interact with the exhibition Bahia Reverb: Artists and Place, using the artwork to inspire their own investigations into place, memory, and culture. Led by author Faith Adiele, practice techniques for reclaiming personal, family, and community stories as part of a global African narrative. Through writing exercises and visual and storytelling prompts, explore the complexity of Black identities and the importance of Black travels and histories. All genres welcome.
