Public Programs

Public programs include free artist talks, panels, short film screenings, workshops, author talks, and exhibition walkthroughs. Programs are organized to coincide with the museum-curated exhibitions on view at Art + Practice.

Join Addy Zou, A+P’s Gallery Guide, for an interactive tour of Collective Constellation: Selections from The Eileen Harris Norton Collection. In this tour, Addy will facilitate a discussion on the ways that artists have transformed existing genres, histories, and narratives. Addy will walk participants through artworks in the exhibition that bring new meanings to American portraiture, silhouette art, religious mythology, and more. How are stories passed down from generation to generation? How are they altered over time? What are the stories in your own life that you feel strongly about? There will be opportunities for individual writing and reflection during the tour. This walkthrough is the last of three examining materials found throughout the exhibition.

This program will be taking place virtually via Ring Central, powered by Zoom. This means that anyone interested in attending this program from anywhere in the world is welcome, all you need is an internet connection! Please RSVP (below) and the information for attending the program will be emailed to all of those on the list.

Please RSVP here. Admission is always free.

Please note: participants may need to download the free RingCentral software.
