Public Programs

Public programs include individual artist talks, panels, short film screenings, and exhibition walkthroughs. Programs are organized to coincide with museum-curated exhibitions on view at Art + Practice.

This public program has been postponed. A+P is still very keen on hosting the event at a later date and is actively rescheduling. Please check back here for updates and follow us on Instagram and Facebook.

Calling all educators to A+P! Join Erin Christovale, curator of Collective Constellation: Selections from The Eileen Harris Norton Collection, for an enlightening tour of the exhibition. The evening will open with a short presentation from A+P’s Joshua Oduga about the educational resources A+P offers. Any questions about A+P’s educational resources, transportation opportunities, and tours are welcome to be asked. This will be followed by a walkthrough with Christovale in which she will outline thematic elements of the exhibition that educators may be interested in. All educators are welcome: from K-12 to university and adult education to summer programs. The intent is to give educators the materials — and knowledge — needed to include a visit to A+P in their coming curriculum. Come in, learn with us, and find out how to bring your students, too!

While this program is intended for educators, all are welcome to attend.

This program is organized on the occasion of Collective Constellation: Selections from The Eileen Harris Norton Collection on view at Art + Practice through August 1, 2020. Collective Constellation: Selections from The Eileen Harris Norton Collection is presented by Art + Practice in collaboration with the Hammer Museum and organized by their Associate Curator Erin Christovale.

Please RSVP for the event here.
